Rhythmic Dance Battle

In this activity, students will work independently or in groups to learn rhythm patterns and movement sequences through guided video tutorials. The goal is to perform the sequence together in class.  

It's an epic dance battle to an uplifting song that celebrates life. The upbeat single 'Vacation' is built on the notion that if you love your job, you'll never work a day in your life.

🎯 Objectives:

This activity teaches collaboration and teamwork, it also flexes body awareness and develops coordination & control of movement. Last but not least, in the class, the students will revisit foundational elements such as rhythm and song structure.

• Consolidate the knowledge of the basics of rhythm and music notation
• Encourage creativity and develop a collaborative, teamwork mindset
